Family Night
Family night is a great time for everybody to see their families and eat some food that isn't "nasty" dining hall food. Family night is Wednesday night.
For our meal, we've ordered barbeque and buns for everyone and ask that each family bring something else to share with the troop, either a side dish, salad, chips & dip, beverages (no alcohol), or dessert. Each family should also bring their own napkins, plates, cups and utensils. We'll be taking up a donation at dinner to cover the cost of the meat.
This is a fun get-together and it means a lot to the boys when you visit them at camp. You should plan to arrive at Mitigwa by 5:30 PM and meet at our usual shelter (Scott Marshall Shelter). For those of you who don't know, look for the shelter in an open area (across Dragoon Field) south of the main parking lot, past the rappelling tower and west of Casady Ridge . If for some reason we cannot use that shelter, we'll be at the Navajo campsite on Casady Ridge. The Navajo campsite is in the woods, east of the shelter. Look for the troop 40 signs if we're not at the shelter.
