Getting ready to go
The bridge was put together above the area were it was going to be installed.
The Scouts had to mark out the wood for screws to be installed
Drilling holes
Installing some of the wood for the walking planks
Make sure it is square
After the bridge was carried down through the woods it was put in place to span the creek
The rest of the wood had to be drilled and installed on the bridge
All done
Some of the Scouts worked on making stairs to be used to get up both side on the bridge
They gathered logs and dug them into place.
Chris found some friends to take home on his pant leg

After the bridge was built some of the Scouts got out the bows and shot at the targets to finish their Archery Merit Badge
Everyone was able to finish
Time for a campfire
Scouts sang songs and told tall stories.
Lot of fun at this camp fire.
Dinner and dessert was severed
Great tasting apple cobbler
Time to head back to Des Moines
